When engaging with your therapist through Ruh Care, rest assured that all your personal information remains securely stored within our platform, with your therapist adhering to stringent permission levels to safeguard your data.
Ruh Care meets compliance standards set forth by:
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), a series of regulations that protects the privacy and security of personal health information.
The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), a series of Canadian regulations that protect personal health data.
The Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), Ontario Canada's act that protects personal health data.
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), to be consistent with the EU's regulations.
Ruh Care therapists will be working from private and secure locations. Ruh Care uses good faith efforts to implement security measures (such as password protection and encryption) that are reasonably intended to prevent the destruction, loss, interception, or alteration of client data by unauthorized persons and which are consistent with current commercial practices in the industry.
Our platform also uses secure socket layers to ensure data security and industry-leading cryptography. Videoconferencing is conducted over an encrypted network, and meetings are not recorded. Most importantly your personal information, notes, and comments from your sessions are protected.
External Access to Your Account
To maintain the highest standards of security and privacy, Ruh Care does not currently support the invitation of friends or the sharing of profile information with other users of the platform.
